Community Care and Justice Values, Assets and Needs Survey
The Care and Community Justice Program in South Orange seeks to transform from a reactive approach to solving community social problems discovered through 911 crisis calls to a caring, humanistic focused approach that integrates academic partners, community and government resources to serve the Target Population. This project includes developing an assessment, community surveys, police department data analysis to drive target specific community led interventions.
Mental Health Ambassador Program East Orange
The Mental Health Ambassador Program targets students impacted by mental health challenges .This program aids students in alleviating stress by providing a peer support group which allows for healthy support systems which increases positive relationships and helping youth to overcome mental stigma and help seeking together as a community.
Social, Cultural Capital Impact on Self Efficacy
This explorative study  addresses urban high school students’ self-efficacy and the intertwined nature of their social and cultural capital. Further, this study explores the impact of online leadership programming on high school youth’s social and cultural capital and self-efficacy.
Social Justice in Action Certificate program
This pilot program is designed to reach credible messengers,community activists, community stakeholders and hard to reach populations in order to active them in a collaborative, engaged curriculum that provides empowered education to address the inequities and dimensions of oppression by actively designing solutions to address the social problems cross-collaboratively.
